The Lumpkin County Historical Society, Inc. Presents Exhibits from the Douglas Carson Collection “Antebellum Lighting Technology, from the Colonial Period until the age of Kerosene”

Douglas Carson of Flintstone, Georgia, will be our guide through this wonderful and fascinating look at how our ancestors helped illuminate the darkness in the age before electricity. The artifacts in Doug’s collection include the primitive and the decorative. Mr. Carson’s program is sure to be of interest to everyone.
