Based in Dahlonega, the Georgia Pick and Bow Traditional Music School's mission is to preserve and promote the traditional music of our region. Musicians ranging from the 4th through 12th grades learn to play Appalachian music on the fiddle, guitar, banjo, mandolin and upright bass. On Thursday, August 14 they will regale us with the songs and instrumentals of a culture worth preserving.

Everyone is invited to join us at the Dahlonega Community House, 111 N Park Street, Dahlonega, GA, on Thursday, August 14, 2014, at 7 p.m.
